Hello Loves! xx

Today I wanted to talk about selfcare! Never heard of her? Is “selfcare” a friend that only comes around 10 minutes once a week? If so, same! Also, I feel you and I see you girl! Truth be told, I NEEDED this blog post for myself! Especially while I’m spending so much time at home.

We all wear so many hats these days. The world tells us to “Have a job.” “Outwork everyone.” “Stay fit.” “Get 8 hours of sleep.” “Eat healthy.” “Participate in service/donate.” “Marry.” “Have a family.” “Build a home.” And the list goes on. None of these things are bad. In fact, most are wonderful! BUT, who has time to work their job, and overtime, then work out, then grocery shop, THEN cook a healthy meal, and send some baked goods to a neighbor, then date/fall in love, marry the partner of your dreams, have kids, keep your kids alive, and pay your bills. Let me tell you who, NO ONE! (Unless you do. In which case, I applaud you!) Let me be transparent when I say in the Allen household, it takes a village! (A large village at that!)

Most days I don’t have time to brush my teeth thoroughly. I stay up until 11 or 12 at night working so Chloé doesn’t have to go without her mum. I never go to the bathroom without my baby sitting on my lap. I try to wash my hair and keep up on my personal hygiene once a week! IT’S IMPORTANT! Now, I’m not trying to complain. I’m just explaining the reality of so many of our lives. We’re stressed. Pressed. We’re lacking time. And we (I) are most definitely lacking our needed dose of selfcare!

I’ve been a fan of Pantene since I was in Jr High School, and thank the heavens for them, they’ve helped me get the most out of the time I do have when I can utilize a bath alone, wash my hair, and indulge in some serious selfcare!

The Pantene Nutrient Blends Fortifying Damage Repair withcastor oil shampoo and conditioner is the perfect wash and rinse not only for hair care but also for selfcare on your wash days! It’s made of blends inspired by cultures from all around the world! It keeps my hair feeling good and clean, protects and repairs damaged hair, it smells divine, it’s sulfate free, and it makes me feel like I’m getting back to being me. Not me the “mum” or me the “work -until-midnight chick” but actually ME. The girl who likes to play with makeup and giggle at TikToks while her hair air dries! It’s nice. And I deserve it. YOU TOO! You deserve it!

On the days I don’t get that time, it’s still important to me to feel somewhat put together. The Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist from their Waterless Collection is made to help us get through the week during non-wash days. I’m not just talking dry shampoo. I’m also taking dry conditioner. (Yeah guys, it’s a thing, and it’s a game changer!)

This Pantene trio has been a game changer for me, and I know it would be for you too! And again, YOU DESERVE IT! To feel good, to have some you time, to have a good hair day any day you want!

For me it’s plain to see, I feel better when I’ve had time to keep up on my appearance even if the time is scarce! I’m grateful for Pantene’s Nutrient Blends and Waterless Collections. They help make it possible and easy! <3

What do you do to indulge in selfcare? Does it sound like this?! What about keeping up on you for you? Leave a comment below! I’d love to hear about it! I’m with you and I see you!

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a great day and staying healthy + safe! <3

I’m so excited to share these Easter Basket ideas for littles with you all! I hope this post puts a smile on your face and gets you and your littles looking forward to something while we’re all stuck in our homes! <3

The magic is back in holidays with a little one at home! Chase and I have had so much fun preparing for each and every one knowing it’s Chloés first! Easter was one of my favorite holidays growing up and still is to this day! We will be celebrating Easter in the Allen household quarantined or not, and I hope you all will too!

For Chloés Easter basket we decided to go with an actual storage basket! She can’t walk/egg hunt on her own, and we are lacking toy + blanket storage so getting a storage basket was a no brainer + saved us some dough! (I’ve linked some baskets we love above from target!) We’ll be filling her basket up with these beautiful Ballerina dolls, a rattle, a crown, baby luggage, and pom blanket from Alimrose! Alimrose is one of the cutest & classiest shops for littles I’ve found since having Chloé! They have a darling selection of dolls + bunnies right now too! I highly recommend checking them out if a “Kate Middleton” Easter is what you’re going for! Your Prince/Princess will love their shop too!

The Bunny will also be leaving books, an Easter outfit, stuffies, little toys, eggs, and some baby friendly treats! These two books above are some of our favorites! The “Mommy Mommy” book is Chloés absolute favorite and I’m not mad about it! (; She squeals when she sees it! YOU NEED IT! <3 Some of the toys, stuffies, and outfit picks we’ve made for the basket I’ve linked below! Simply click on a picture to shop an item! One of our favorite items for an Easter basket that isn’t photographed is a bubble machine/bubble gun! We got ours for $4 and it’s a big hit in our house! (The biggest!) Another big hit in our house right now are these eggs! We got a pack of 47 for $3 and Chloé loves playing with them! 10/10 would recommend letting your littles play with the eggs early! Affordable entertainer right here! <3

Growing up the Easter bunny used to hide our Easter baskets and we’d have to search from them around the house with the help of a few clues! I loved this growing up and can’t wait to do this for Chloé! What are Easter traditions OR Easter basket must haves for you?! Leave a comment below, I would love to know! And thank you for stopping by! Love you all! xx Stay safe out there during this crazy time!
