Hello loves! I feel like I’ve been MIA. The past two weeks have been both incredible & crazy! Chase and I have been busy working on a few new things and were excited to share them with you guys! STAY TUNED! 

We took a day to unwind from all the excitement and craziness of life and spent a sunny afternoon at the Day Break lake! It’s a beautiful little lake smack dab in the middle of the cutest neighborhood you ever did see. (It doesn’t even look like Utah! More east coast beach housey.)

It was so nice to spend some time together just relaxing under the sun. We definitely recommend taking a drive out here and spending an hour or so in this cute lil place! You can swim, walk along a paved trail that surrounds the lake, row a boat, paddle board, have a picnic, or sun bath! 

I also took this opportunity to wear this two piece daisy duo from Lulus! This outfit is flowy, fun, and breathable! I was so glad I wore it to the lake!  It was perfect for a warm sunny day!

Happy Monday from me & mine to you & yours! Today is a special Monday!.. A very special, very busy Monday! We’re exactly TWO weeks away from Christmas and today is the LAST day to order Christmas presents online without having to “rush ship” your packages! 

Ladies and Gents, I urge you to finish up your shopping tonight! Not only will it save you some dough, but it will make your holiday season less of a stress!  

If you’re still stuck and don’t know what to get, (or if you’ve been slacking like I have) might I suggest popping over to Lulus for some Christmas shopping?! They have everything from home decor,  to tech accessories, to makeup, to clothes! Truly a one stop shop with some of the cutest things around! (Like my outfit!) I got this outfit online from Lulus and it's definitely a new summer favorite! It's just the right amount of edge!

Thinking about starting a brunch club, who's in? Jk. But wouldn't that be fun?! 

Utah has A TON of brunch/breakfast spots that C & I LOVE!  

Our absolute favorite spot is the Foundry Grill at Sundance! It's an all you can eat brunch on the mountainside. The food & the views are both heavenly! The Foundry has everything you could possibly imagine, and is the most bang for your buck. 10/10 would recommend! 

La Caille is a close second! Located in Sandy, La Caille is something out of a fairy tale! It looks like a castle, has the most beautiful grounds, and the food is to die! Watch out for animals though! If you're not paying attention, they might steal your breakfast before you've had the chance to dig in! (This has definitely happened to me a few times haha!)  

Our other favorite brunch spots include Apex at Montage located in Deer Valley, The Grand Americas all you can eat brunch lacated in Salt Lake, (complete with live blue grass band) Market Street Grills brunch downtown SLC, Stein Eriksens all you can eat brunch in Park City, Gurus in Provo, Maglebys, (multiple locations) and of course Mickey Ds. Jk on the Mickey Ds! However, McDonalds breakfast really is bomb!

Many of these restaurants do a special Mothers Day brunch! I think this would be a lovely thing to do with your family on Mothers Day! (I think The Grand Americas might take the cake if it's a comp!) 

&& side note: If you're a guy & think brunching is for chicks, shut cho mouth. Every time we've eaten brunch at The Grand America, we see athletes. Jazz, U of U, visitors, its rad. If you won't go for the food, go as a fan!
