Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the extra long weekend and spending it in a fun, relaxing way! <3  

Chase & I are up the canyon camping with his family this weekend! I'm not much of a camper, but I do love being out in the cool mountain air! There's something about Utah mountains this time of year that's just magical. 

The leaves have barely started to change and its got me all excited for autumn! Everything about autumn makes me giddy. The crisp air, the colorful leaves, the holidays, the pumpkin flavored everything, and of course, the fashion! Fashion this time of year is better than any other time! (Cold enough to layer, but warm enough not to cover your outfit with a coat!) Kinda like this outfit!

Boyfriend jeans & bombers are the name of the game this season! (And hopefully every season <3 I love em both!)

Anytime I'm out shopping, (or have an itch to buy something new) this is my go to! Distressed, comfortable denim, and a black and white striped shirt! (If you look at my wardrobe, the distressed jeans and striped tees take up the majority of my closet space!) My other go to's are work out gear, (que Lulu) chunky sweaters + hoodies, and shoes!

I'm currently on a little family staycation and I had to bring this outfit I got from RubyClaire! We're in St. George (aka 103 degree weather) and this top + this pair of jeans were light & thin enough to wear without making me break a sweat! (Not to mention, unbelievably cute!) 

You all know how much I love my "jeans and a tee shirt" outfits.. So this was a perfect spin! Add a little touch of feminine with those scallops, then brought it back to casual with the ripped denim & the flats!

Thinking about starting a brunch club, who's in? Jk. But wouldn't that be fun?! 

Utah has A TON of brunch/breakfast spots that C & I LOVE!  

Our absolute favorite spot is the Foundry Grill at Sundance! It's an all you can eat brunch on the mountainside. The food & the views are both heavenly! The Foundry has everything you could possibly imagine, and is the most bang for your buck. 10/10 would recommend! 

La Caille is a close second! Located in Sandy, La Caille is something out of a fairy tale! It looks like a castle, has the most beautiful grounds, and the food is to die! Watch out for animals though! If you're not paying attention, they might steal your breakfast before you've had the chance to dig in! (This has definitely happened to me a few times haha!)  

Our other favorite brunch spots include Apex at Montage located in Deer Valley, The Grand Americas all you can eat brunch lacated in Salt Lake, (complete with live blue grass band) Market Street Grills brunch downtown SLC, Stein Eriksens all you can eat brunch in Park City, Gurus in Provo, Maglebys, (multiple locations) and of course Mickey Ds. Jk on the Mickey Ds! However, McDonalds breakfast really is bomb!

Many of these restaurants do a special Mothers Day brunch! I think this would be a lovely thing to do with your family on Mothers Day! (I think The Grand Americas might take the cake if it's a comp!) 

&& side note: If you're a guy & think brunching is for chicks, shut cho mouth. Every time we've eaten brunch at The Grand America, we see athletes. Jazz, U of U, visitors, its rad. If you won't go for the food, go as a fan!

Remember a while back when I shared my first "photo story?!" Well here's episode two! 

I cannot tell a lie, it's a rarity when I eat a burger! (Red meat has never been my favorite!) But every now and then, I get a craving!  

@ in n out I order the double double protein style! (Anndd according to the pictures above I was so hungry I forgot to order it protein style!) I'm celiac, so I have to!  #MyLifeSucks

Hey loves! 

I wanted to start something new where once a week I'll be sharing actual snippets of my daily life! I'm gonna call them "Photo Stories!" (Which is not clever in the slightest because they're literally just photos that I'm turning into a story.. hahaa!)

The reason I want to post Photo Stories is because it's more real. I don't have a full face of make up, a professional photographer, perfectly edited images, in the most prime location. This is going to be more every day life!.. Raw + real!

To start it off; this is currently my go to outfit. $30.00 band merch that I snagged from Brandy Melville, black distressed skinny jeans, black handbag, and nude heels or my adidas superstars. (P.s. these heels are my FAVORITE I've ever owned. I got them from M.Gemi! They have tons of unique styles, you need to check them out!)

I'm OBSESSED with food and have a list of 100 places I want to try in Utah! I finally got a second yesterday to run into "Taste," (A chocolate restaurant) and I'm so glad I did! I grabbed a dark chocolate bar made in house, and a milk chocolate bar from Australia! They were divine! (Chocolate bars pictured above.) You could say I'm in luhve with the Koko. (;  (Name that song. Jk don't.) 

While at Taste I was asking the chocolatier what his favorite chocolates are and what he would recommend. Long story short getting the chocolate bars was a bad idea because they do actual chocolate tastings. A. Chocolate. Tasting. And full on desserts!!!! I missed out BIG TIME! It's OK though. I guess this means I'll have to go again soon! <3 

A few Utah restaurants that are on my list to try are Forte, Chip cookie, Copper onion, Finca, Purple sage, and Handle! What are some on yours?! Seriously comment below! I would love to hear your favorite Utah restaurants and the ones you're dying to try!

One of my favorite ways to begin transitioning my closet into spring is 1. Get rid of anything I haven't worn in a year. (You too! Seriously. You DONT need it!) 2. Wash & steam my clothes so everything is fresh & clean. & 3. Hop online and start browsing new arrivals! This time of year I find myself shopping for blouses, lace tops/dresses, and pastels. I'll start wearing the blouses & the lace items immediately, but hold off on the pastels until March/April. (Depending on Utahs bipolar weather.)

When the snow begins to fall, I immediately bust out my sweaters! To me, nothing beats a warm, cozy, cashmere sweater. <3
