If you find yourself in Salt Lake City, The Grand America is the only way to go! This hotel is by far the best the salty city has to offer!

Chase and I have always loved staying at The Grand! You can find us here after a Jazz game, sleeping in, getting Sunday Brunch, enjoying the spa and maybe a couples massage, and then hitting the pool! (They have indoor & outdoor so they’ve got you covered no matter the season!) We also love to people watch in the grand lobby. There’s often weddings, corporate events, cute ladies out for tea, and nba teams staying at the hotel which makes for an enjoyable time while waiting for your car! The lobby often has live music being played ranging from bands to harp, and there’s always an enormous bouquets of flowers who’s aroma fills the room!

The Grand life with Chloé was a little different but just as magical and luxurious as ever before! We made a stop to the in house toy store and just about died! Everything from the store, to the toys, to the window displays were to die for! The Grand America’s toy store is New York status if you know what I mean! We definitely got a few new toys for Chloé!

All three of us Allens enjoyed our vibrant, spacious room, the delicious room service menu, and a cheerful staff helping us with whatever we needed!

It truly was a staycation to remember! <3

Baby Allen is a GIRL!!!! <3 Chase and I are so excited to bring this little angel into the world! I don’t know how or why but it gets that much better once you know what you’re having! 

Chase and I had our family over over for our baby’s gender reveal and it was so much fun!

Chases brother Travis and his fiancé Charles took charge and handled every detail from food to decor, to coming with me to to the ultrasound and planning the reveal for everyone, including us! (THANK YOU TRAV & CHARLES!!!! We love you!)

I’ve been feeling kinda sick still, (pregnancy is tough guys) so I’m going to keep the post short n sweet and add some videos! First is the ultrasound where you can see baby girl perfectly, and the other is our gender reveal! ENJOY LOVES! xx  

Also, a huge shout out to my friend Natalie Mckell! She recently had a baby boy and has been my go to while being pregnant! She helped me find a doctor, helped me find prenatals to take, is always answering my pregnancy questions, and made some beautiful floral arrangements for the gender reveal and overall makes me feel like a million bucks! I love this girl! THANK YOU NAT for being such a good friend! ILYSM! 

Also, I couldn’t have a shin dig w/ out these puppies! Cupcakes from the sweet tooth fairy! They’re my absolute favorite! <3 (I ate three that night!) Safe to say baby girl is a sugar-holic just like her moma!

We went shopping for her the day after we found out she was a girl! The Baby Cubby is the cutest baby store, and we honestly couldn’t wait to start getting some cute baby clothes!!!!

Hello loves! I feel like I’ve been MIA. The past two weeks have been both incredible & crazy! Chase and I have been busy working on a few new things and were excited to share them with you guys! STAY TUNED! 

We took a day to unwind from all the excitement and craziness of life and spent a sunny afternoon at the Day Break lake! It’s a beautiful little lake smack dab in the middle of the cutest neighborhood you ever did see. (It doesn’t even look like Utah! More east coast beach housey.)

It was so nice to spend some time together just relaxing under the sun. We definitely recommend taking a drive out here and spending an hour or so in this cute lil place! You can swim, walk along a paved trail that surrounds the lake, row a boat, paddle board, have a picnic, or sun bath! 

I also took this opportunity to wear this two piece daisy duo from Lulus! This outfit is flowy, fun, and breathable! I was so glad I wore it to the lake!  It was perfect for a warm sunny day!

“Tommys Burgers, Famous by noon tomorrow!” WHY ARE THESE WORDS SO CUTE?! 

ANYWHO! Casual comfort food calls for a casual outfit! I wouldn’t consider myself to be a burger or “meat freak,” (in fact, I’ve considered going vegetarian/vegan a hundred times) BUT sometimes a greasy burger right off the grill really hits the spot! Especially with all this warm weather Utah is getting! They just mesh! 

Tommy’s in Provo is quick, cozy, historic, and divine! If you haven’t been, I’d say it’s worth a try!

And oddly enough.. I feel like my outfit (got it from Lulus) is hitting all the same points as Tommy’s Burgers! (Quick, cozy, historic, divine) It’s easy to throw on, beyond comfortable, a classic + timeless brand, and DIVINE! 10/10 would recommend both this outfit from Lulus, and a bite from Tommy’s!

Taking advantage of Utahs scenery more than ever before. Honestly, I really love being outdoors. Especially in a cute outfit like this! I love how this outfit meshes with the mountains and the weather so perfectly. For once, I feel like I belong in Utah!   

I bought both this sweater & denim from Vici Collection! I knew I had to have them the second I saw them. I’ve been looking for a Pom Pom sweater and this one is the ultimate! It’s comfortable, soft, has the cutest poms, perfect neutral color, and it’s not over done on the poms, just perfect! I also fell in love with these suspender jeans the moment I tried them on! They’re like overalls, but more comfortable! (And in my opinion, a lil more fashionable as well!) 10/10 would recommend this entire outfit to you! Ok, who watched my insta stories yesterday?! <3 It was my moms 51st birthday, and I planned a little surprise for her!  

I contacted Good Things Utah (Utahs BEST day show) and the hosts from the show agreed to come have lunch at Blue Lemon and do nails at Amara Day Spa with my mom and I for her birthday! I didn’t mention anything to my mom and was anticipating her reaction for weeks!   (My mom has watched their show everyday for YEARS and is literally obsessed with them!.. The Good Things Utah hosts are Beyonce in her eyes!) 

When we got to Blue Lemon and she saw one of the Hosts by her birthday balloons, she started bawling. (Emphasis on BAWLING!) She couldn’t stop hugging/laughing/crying over the hosts! It was so cute!! I took a video but my phone glitched and it didn’t save! (Curse you apple update!) It was an amazing moment to witness!

After lunch we headed to Amara Day Spa (my go to salon & spa in Utah) with the GTU girls for some much needed pampering and girl talk! There was talk of dating, being a mom, how to properly put on your bra, and more! (I also convinced them to tell me what they’re dressing up as for Halloween! Sorry though, I don’t leak secrets!)

My mom was on cloud 9 the entire day! In fact, she’s still on cloud 9 today hahaa!  

I just wanted to say thank you to the GTU hosts for being so kind, loving, charitable, and for making my moms birthday the best yet! We are so grateful for all of you and love you from the bottom of our hearts! I also wanted to say thank you to Amara Day Spa for making us feel like princesses! There’s isn’t another place in Utah I would want to take all these beautiful women to for a day of pampering! 

Lastly, I want to say thank you to my MOM! Thanks for being my mom KAWI ANDWUS! You are an amazing woman & mother, and I’m lucky to be your daughter! Happy 51st mom <3 I love you!!

I received a few emails last night from you guys saying you’ve loved these “pink posts” I’ve been doing! (If you’re late to the pink party, I’m wearing pink all week as my own personal way to help raise breast cancer awareness! It is national breast cancer awareness month after all!) One of the emails I received had me laughing SO HARD I was in tears! Someone thought I should show some boob, cleavage, or grab my chest for the next set of pics to help raise awareness!.. Lucky for them I have a great sense of humor! And unlucky for me I hardly have a chest hahaa! I’m still growing into my woman body! PLUS, I would NEVER do that! Sorry who ever you are!.. That’s just not me! (Thanks for the suggestion though! I really thought it was thoughtful and funny hahaa!) 

Todays outfit is for the minimalists/people who stick to neutrals! If I had to choose just one of these pink outfits to wear everyday, it would be this one! I got this entire outfit from Vici Collection and love how simple and comfortable it is! My favorite part is this pink suede jacket! It’s the perfect color and fit! Truly one of the best options for a week full of pink!

I also really love these suede J Slide Sneakers! I did a post earlier this week with a silk pink lace up pair, but wanted to rock these taller + darker slides today! Black and white striped anything & EVERYTHING is and has always been my favorite thing to wear. You could say I like it A LATTE! (Cause it’s a latte, and I like it a latte.) HA! K I’ll stop being a dork now. 

I wanted to show this tee styled two ways and prove you can wear a simple tee to the office aside from the weekends! For a business casual look I paired this tee with a blazer and knee high boots, looking 100% office appropriate! After meetings/work I’d swap my sunglasses in for a cute cap like this and go hit the town/meet up with Chase for dinner! For a weekend look, I’d ditch the blazer altogether, swap the boots for some converse, possibly add a denim jacket, and I’m good to go! 

I got this entire outfit from Lulus and have been wearing it to and from meetings, on date night, and on the weekend! I really can’t get enough of these stripes! Sunday best rocking our new Hush Puppies! We're kind of in love with our Hush Puppies shoes. (And each other, but we won't get into that right now!) (;  

When it comes to buying clothes/styling outfits, we always consider how comfortable the item is, then the looks of the item! (Comfort first ALWAYS!) These Hush Puppies definitely pass our test!

 What's up peeps?! <3 

We just got back home from the Zermatt in Midway and absolutely loved it! (We'll put a post up of our adventure soon!) 

While we were there, we ventured out to one of our favorite places in Utah (Park City) to get in some fine dinning & shopping! First of all, we have to tell you about this incredible restaurant we went to called Riverhorse!!!! It's located on Main Street, and it was DIVINE! 10/10 would recommend for a hot date night or a celebration! (We ordered the surf & turf + the macadamia nut crusted Alaskan halibut. Both were heaven on earth.) 

After dinner, we shopped on main for a while because we were so STUFFED! (Gotta work off that din din!) All the things we bought/were drawn to were deep colored, kinda like our outfits above! Very neutral & casual. And let's be honest for a second, at this point, we are the definition of casual! 

Our favorite shops up there are Prospect, Flight, and Cake!  (&& the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory, but that one is a given!)
