One of my favorite trends this year is ribbed tops! Tight fitting, textured, ribbed everything! I lovvee ribbed dresses too, but hadn't purchased one out of fear. (Ribbed dresses look like they fit extremely tight! And I'm not sure how I feel about that sometimes!) But then I saw this pink baby, and fell in L O V E!!!!  

This is the first ribbed dress I've ever seen that's loose fitting and flowy! It's made of the softest fabric, and has an incredible stretch! It also comes in the CUTEST colors for fall! (I had a hard time deciding on just one..) 

My favorite part about this dress is that it can easily be dressed up or down! It meshes with my finer jewelry & heels on Sunday, and also with my booties and denim jacket that I wear almost everyday! <3

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year is among us, (finally <3) and I HAD to share my favorite beauty products for this season! (& every season!)

I've raved about Cle' De Peaus cosmetics time & time again, but today I'm breaking it down for you!  

Cle' De Peau makes top of the line beauty products that won't wipe off in the cold, or melt away in the heat! You put their products on once, and it's permanent for the rest of the day! I ESPECIALLY love this with their Highlighter & Concealer! Their highlight accentuates all of your best features without over doing the shine. And you could be going on 72 hours of sleepless nights, have 2 black eyes, put their concealer on, and you're GOLDEN! (I kid you not, these 2 products are MUST HAVES!) 

I also snagged these shadows & lipsticks from Nordys last week grabbing my must have products and they are UNREAL! The shadow is a cream to powder, comes in the most BEAUTIFUL colors, and they're incredibly easy to layer! As for the lipsticks, they are my new favorite lippies! No comp! They're called Radiant Liquid Rouge, and simply put they're a lip gloss + lipstick duo that lasts & shines for hours! They come in the most beautiful colors and feel silky smooth on my lips! 

I HIGHLY recommend all of these products for holiday gifts, or for YOUR holiday look! (So a gift to you from you from you! (; You deserve it!) No one has time to reapply throughout the day, especially during the holidays! So do it right the first time, hide those baggy eyes, and be radiant this season! xx|HEA

Happy Halloween you lil SPOOKS! <3 The older C & I get, the more we appreciate this holiday! (Is it bad to say I'm already looking forward to Halloween next year?!) 

Anyways!.. We've been festive all October long with our Atlasware water bottles! We HAVE to have our Atlasware bottle at all times! It keeps our water cold for 24 hours, and my cocoa HOT for 18! Chase & I used ours all summer when we were working outside, and now we put our cocoa in it if we're up early in the morning or up in the mountains! This water bottle went from a luxury to a necessity within a few weeks! (We always wonder how we survived with out it/why doesn’t everyone have a water bottle that’s this amazing, festive, & functional.) If you love the outdoors/work outdoors you need this water bottle! <3 Atlasware for the Win! <3

Unicorn Makeup: Katie Livingston / Velvet Dress / Pink Fur Coat / Pink Choker / Headband / Horn / Polaroid 

I'm officially a CORN! <3 Well, a Unicorn that is! 

My inbox has been overflowing since I shared my fantasy costume yesterday, so I thought I'd share the details with you all here! <3  

First of all, it's a tradition of my moms to attend "Witches Night" at Gardner Village each year! The costumes/witches are always incredible, and I wanted to step up my game this year! I had one of my favorite makeup artists in Utah (Katie Livingston) doll me up! We went for a semi neutral look, and focused on small details! She used pink + purple  colored contour/shadow, and MAJOR HIGHLIGHT! I feel like the highlight/glitter really pulled this look together! Katie does just about every type of makeup you could think of, and I HIGHLY recommend her! Anytime Katie does my makeup, I realize how horrible I am at doing my own! (Her makeup also lasted ALL NIGHT! I didn't fix it once, and it was applied at 9:00 a.m!) However, I did do my little brothers makeup yesterday (inspired by one of Katie's skeleton looks) and it just might be the greatest work I've ever done! (And it also lasted all night!) THX KAIDEN FOR LETTING ME PLAY WITH UR FACE! ILYSM!!!! 

For my outfit, I didn't want to go buy something new.. So I pulled this velvet dress that I recently purchased from Lulus, a pink fur coat, and a pink choker! These are all pieces that are currently in my closet, and I think they worked PERFECTLY! 

My headpiece is two separate accessories! The headband I picked up from Francesca's at the University mall this past week. (It's a darling grey and pink embellished headband!) And the horn I purchased from Taylormade in Provo! (Taylormade is a costume & makeup store! It's also the same store that Chase & I rented our Peter Pan & Tinker Belle costumes many of you have asked about!) I can't find the horn online anywhere, but it was $5.00 and they had TONS left! (I bought it on Wednesday and I garuntee it's still in stock!) I considered making a horn for a second, but this one has a clear elastic attachment & LIGHTS UP so I was sold! It stayed on all too, I didn't adjust it once! (And I was dancing/running around!)

I'm incredibly picky with my jeans, and this pair has me SWOONING! I bought these Grey Skinnies from Bella Ella & they just turned into my "go to" denim! I feel like they lift, shape, slim, stretch, and tighten in all of the right areas! They're beyond comfortable & flattering, they're perfection! (And if you ask Chase, they make the booty look all sorts of heart eye emojis!) Definitely both C & my new favorite! <3 

I also snagged this darling Military Jacket from Bella Ella! I've been on the search for one ever since NYFW where they were trending hard in the streets & the runway! I love how this one fits & has the faux leather sleeves! It definitely stands out amongst others! I find myself wearing it all the time, it goes with everything! The styling options with this baby are endless! 

As for C's jeans + jacket, he's eaqually obsessed! His style has been changing a little bit, and I'm not mad about it! He's been shopping for neutral, comfortable, simple items and obviously it's working for him! (Insert heart eye emojis times a million) Some of you may say this is "grungy" (like his babe-in motto jeans from Hudson) but I think it looks Kanye! (And I mean that in the best possibly way!) YEEZY STEEZY 5EVER!

Keeping it Sunday appropriate with this beautiful lace dress & leather jacket that I snagged from Bella Ella Boutique! This gorgeous little number also comes in maroon & black, (hello fall) and I may or may not have it in all 3 colors! Decisions are rough guys! (;

Aside from this outfit, I have to share another purchase that I'm crazy about right now! This Klorane Dry Shampoo! 

Many of you would agree when I say that washing/drying your hair SUCKS! (Men don't know how good they have it!)  Most women go a few days inbetween washing their hair, which is GREAT! (It's healthy to keep your natural oils in & will actually help your hair grow!) BUUTT, some women aren't as fortunate and have to wash daily! 

I was one of those "daily" washers until I turned 17 and discovered baby powder. AKA the universal solvent to all my problems. Hair oily? Baby powder. Shoes smelly? Baby powder. Face shiny? Baby powder. It seriously works for everything! I still LOVE baby powder and use it for just about everything!.. But, I have definitely been made fun of for it in the past. And you constantly smell like a babies bottom. (And if you ask my dad or Chase, that's not the most pleasant smell hahaa!) 

To rid of my baby bottom scent, I've been on the search for a new product to help my hair & replace the baby powder! And I FINALLY found one! I was at Sephora snagging some makeup and saw an entire section filled with products to try! And since Sephora has an amazing return policy, I snagged 4 and tested each one out to see what worked the best! 

There was NO COMP! This Klorane dry shampoo KILLED the others! It has an amazing, natural scent, It has a very clean + dry feel on my scalp, It has tons of power, And it lasted longer than the others! (I only have to use it once every 2 days!) And the best part about it is that I've noticed my hair starting to GROW! I didn't realize it before, but I'm positive the baby powder was damaging my hair!  

I've also come to find that this dry shampoo is an Allure "Best of Beauty" winner 4 years and counting! (All of a Allures beauty winners are AMAZE!) So if you don't want to take my word for it, take Allures! <3 Try this puppy out, I swear you won't regret it! xx

My weekend plans consist of crockpot cooking, reading in my pjs, watching a good movie, all while cuddled up with C. <3 I suppose this colder weather has finally got the best of me! (If it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not. Lazy days + cold weather are my favorite!) 

Before I go into "hibernation" for the next couple of days, I wanted to share this dress with you guys! I snagged it from LuLus last week & I'm so glad I did! It's definitely a new favorite of mine! & this color & fit are TO DIE!  (and perfect for this season!) 

LuLus is seriously one of my favorite online shopping spots. It's a one stop shop with a price range that works for everyone! You could splurge on a couple items, or checkout with a few complete outfits! If you haven't ever shopped there, you need to! 10/10 would recommend! <3 Happy weekend darlings! xx

If you've been looking for an acne solution, look no further! We have a system that will brighten your skin, minimize your pores, kill bacteria, prevent future breakouts, and help rid of natural oil! Clearly we use Proactiv! 

Chase & I both have used Proactiv for years, and I don't think we'll ever switch! Occasially I'll try something new, but nothing works quite like Proactiv!  

Chases skin/genes are better than mine, so he uses the Proactiv + system! Proactiv + is for the average joe. You break out, but you're not extreme. You have dry to oily skin. And you won't break out if you skip washing your face for the night. 

Me on the other hand.. well, I'm not so lucky! I'm constantly broken out. Even without stress & makeup! It's genetic /: (And I am horribly oily!) Since I'm more severe, I use Extra Strength Proactiv! The systems are almost identical. The Extra Strength system is just a step up! <3

These are both 3 step systems that cleanse, exfoliate, tone, and moisturize. It sounds like a lot, but it's not! It's actually very quick & simple! Aight bb's <3 today I wanted to share 2 of my very favorite people that are game changers when it comes to beauty! 

If you follow me on snapchat & Instagram, you should know about my obsession with EYEBROWS! 

Eyebrows are literally everything! The shape, length, and color frame your face and make a huge difference when it comes to your appearance! 

I first had my eyebrows tattooed/microbladed 3 years ago! I did my research for a few months until I found someone who's work I loved! 

Alanna Precis of Precis Brows was who I found and have stuck with ever since! SHES ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She makes you feel completely comfortable, she talks you through everything so you understand exactly what she's doing, she can perfectly see & explain what shape/size/color you need by your face shape and coloring, and so much more. Alanna is an artist, and she only creates masterpieces. Seriously. 

My most recent appointment with her (2 weeks ago) was a little different than usual! I normally just have her do her thang, but this time I threw in a couple of suggestions. (I really wanted to go thicker and illuminate my high arch.) We are both in love with how they turned out and we couldn't be any happier! (Well, unless it was real eyebrow hair hahaa!) 

I often check out other brow artists, and honestly, not a single one comes close to Alanna. GUYS, I want what's best for all of us! And simply put, Alanna is the best of the best. If you're considering upping your brow game in any way, shape, or form, YOU NEED PRECIS BROWS! 

Another artist I'm in love with right now is my Eyelash Extensions girl, Brianna Mason! 

Ahh I don't even know where to begin with this girl! SHE IS SO SO GOOD! And sweet. And nice. And kind. And amazing. 

Until Bri, I didn't even like eyelash extensions! They usually hurt, take too much time & money, ruin my real eyelashes, and look horribly unnatural! BUT NOT BRIS! <3 She uses the best products that not only look natural, but are extremely light weight! (They don't irritate or effect me at all!) Her lashes look good forever!.. Even when they start falling out! And when the lashes fall off, they don't pull my natural lash with them which is is HUGE BONUS! Some people can't even tell that they are extensions! THEY ARE THAT GOOD PEOPLE! 

Eyelash extensions should draw attention to your eyes, not the extensions! And that's exactly what Bri does! <3 

I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I receive on both my brows and lashes daily! I feel like it's important to share my gals with you all because if you're getting either of these things done, you need to go to someone who can do it right! THE FIRST TIME! Someone who is a professional, who knows what they're doing, and who LOVES what they do! These ladies are the best in Utah, no competition whatsoever! <3

One of the things I do before applying my makeup or trying something new is search for inspiration photos/tutorials. I have a board on Pinterest that is chucked full of different looks that I often browse while getting ready! Below you can find my favorite ones! <3 They are easy to follow and have simple break downs! Enjoy! <3

Eyes & Brows

Brows are my absolute FAVORITE! They truly make or break your face! The evolution of these babies amaze me.. They’ve been pencil thin, barely there, sharpied on, and so much more! Right now I’m obsessing over a brow that has a “fade” to it. (or an ombré effect) It starts out lighter/sparse and ends being darker/thick. I’m also obsessing over a thick natural brow! Many of us aren’t so fortunate and don’t have this, but you can definitely create a perfect fraud with makeup!

Now, if you’re someone who doesn’t have much brow hair (or shape) I HIGHLY recommend getting your brows microbladed! I had mine done for the first time 3 years ago and it was the biggest GAME CHANGER! (I get mine done at Salon Precis by Alanna Precis! SHE’S UNREAL!) 

Eyeshadow/Eyeliner makes the world of a difference as well! During the day, I only wear MATTE COLORS! Night time is when you’re allowed to bust out the shimmer! 

One thing I stay away from with eyeshadow is adding shimmer colors to the crease of my eye! The shimmer defines/pops wrinkles and can make your eyes look quite a bit older! (Who wants that?!) For a night/bombshell/smokey eye look I’ll occasional add shimmer to my crease. I do this about once a month! (If that!)

Below you can see the faded/ombré brows, some shadows I’m crushing on, and some very simple winged liner! 

Lips

Oh the beauty of lips! <3 I used to not care/think much about lips. But then one day I had a makeup artist highlight & contour my lips! GUYS, MY WORLD WAS CHANGED! & LIPS ARE SOO IMPORTANT! 

I have three different ways I do my lips. I like to keep them somewhat consistent and natural looking. My three methods are; 1. I line, highlight, and contour them with a lip liner pencil and finish with a gloss & lip plumper. 2. I simply apply one lipstick and fin. Or 3. I slap on my burts bees chapstick and call it good! 

I love the look of a full lip, but I also love the look of a natural/thin lip. For this reason, I will never get lip filler! If the trends were to change and I was stuck with Kylie Jenner lips, I don’t know what I’d do! I feel like makeup is a better AND safer route when it comes to the lippies! 

Below is my favorite lip contour guide! I don’t always do each and every line, but I do always add the X no matter what! It makes the cupids bow stand out!!!! <3

Highlight & Contour

Highlighting & contouring is by far MY FAVORITE part of my makeup routine! It makes the biggest difference and is incredibly fun to experiment with! 

I use two creams & a beauty blender to highlight and contour my face. If I’m going for a more dramatic look I’ll finish it off with highlight & contour powder!

Below you will see three pictures that I follow exactly! They are from one of my friends who is a professional makeup artist and has given me a few lessons/tips throughout the years! 

Finished Looks <3

I love discovering pictures with different looks and trying them out on myself! Ive found its the best way to get better at applying makeup! Wether it’s a different brow shape, a bold lip, a natural vibe, or a complete bombshell look, I LOVE trying them all! 

I recommend gathering a handful of favorite looks before experimenting! Below are some of my favorites! They are all different but beautiful! 

Another thing I’d recommend doing is finding one person who you can relate to/think is stunning who’s looks you can recreate on yourself! 

For example; I adore Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, and Kendall Jenner, but I don’t have many similarities to these beauties. (Cry) BUUTT I do have similarities to Candice Swanepoel, Julianne Hough, and Alena Shishkova! I often look to these women when trying out a new look! ESPECIALLY ALENA! I love her in just about every look possible! (And let’s be honest, to look like her would be a dream!) 

Random makeup advice/tips: 

Less is more.

Do your makeup in natural light/sunlight.

BE SOFT. Don’t press, brush, or blend hard. 

Aim to blend. Avoid creating lines/stripes.

Exfoliate your face at least once a week.

Pluck your brows every now and then. (Or have them waxed regularly)

Don’t try a new look for the first time for an important event. (Seriously) 

Go at least one day a week makeup free. 1. You’re beautiful & 2. Your skin needs a day to breathe!

DON’T do the same thing everyday. Switch up your look AND your products often.

Keep in mind that makeup is supposed to enhance your natural beauty. Don’t change your overall look! YOU ARE UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL <3

Brushes: Some people swear that certain brushes make a huge difference when it comes to makeup. I have both high & low end brushes and honestly haven’t noticed much of a difference in quality/application. However, I DO notice a HUGE difference when I use clean brushes vs. dirty ones! I try to wash mine every two to three weeks! (And if I had more time, I’d do it weekly!) CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES LADIES! (And your beauty blenders too! <3) 

There’s always a handful of beauty products I’m dying to buy & try! Below are some products on my current list/some of my favorite beauty products that I use everyday! This makeup brush set & air brush system are two things I DYING to get my hands on the second I’m feeling rich!

The hubs & I are taking it easy today after a weekend spent in Lake Powell with some of our friends! We had a blast! (& this is the best way to start a Monday if you ask me hahaa!)

It’s official. I’ve switched my little black dress obsession for little white ones! (Seriously though) 

This dress is the perfect combination of classy + chic. It reminds me of throwing on your mans button up shirt in the morning, (so hot) but with a feminine touch! Hey loves! <3 Sorry I’ve been MIA lately.. Chase & I just moved back to UTAH and we are finally getting back into our regular routine! (Traveling/Moving is exhausting.. Blah) 

Anyways, I’m excited to share a few favorites with y’all today! Two words: Lips & Lace.

Let’s start with the lippies peeps. I have seen these Lip Sense puppies around for months, and I finally got my hands on one! The rave about these lip sticks is that they have gorgeous colors + last all day long. I put mine to the test and was AMAZED! It actually lasted all day long and then some! I ate 3 meals with it on, swam, got a quick BBG work out in, smooched on my honey, and it was STILL on when I washed my face that night! In fact, I couldn’t get it off! Hahaa! I tried to scrub it off, but gave up after a while and resulted to the remover that came in my set!

Each Lip Sense lip stick comes with a gloss, and a remover. So you’re set 5ever. Even longer than 5ever.. for eternity. This lip stick is as eternal as a Temple marriage.. I’m sure of it!

Another thing I have to rave about is this dress. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START GUYS. 

Obviously it’s STUNNING, but I think my favorite thing about it is the fit! For whatever reason, it’s slimming at the waist and bigger in the hips. It looks like a body con dress but it’s not tight fitting. EVERY DRESS NEEDS TO FIT LIKE THIS! It’s the absolute most flattering fit and I’m in love!!!! I got it online fromModern Vintage Boutique! They seriously have some of the cutest dresses right now!!!!

I’m on a fashion + function kick as of late. <3 

I’m always particular with how my outfits cialisonline-lowprice.com look, but lately I’ve been taking comfort & function into consideration more than I ever have! (And it’s going exxttrreemmeellyy well Hahaa!) Looking stylish and feeling comfortable is literally goals rn.

THE WEDDING

Six months ago I made the most important decision of my life, and said yes to forever with the man of my dreams. <3 

It’s crazy to think that Chase and I have been “The Allens” for half a year already. I honestly don’t know where the times goes! I suppose it just passes you by when you’re on cloud 9. 

I truly feel like I’m the luckiest in the world. I can’t begin to tell you in words how much I love this man.. Or even how much he means to me. But I can tell you that without him, I am incomplete. He makes my life come to life, and I can’t imagine my world without him. 

So here’s to us babe <3 to the last 6 months, to our perfect day, to our endless future, and our once in a lifetime love. <3 

Family is absolutely everything to us. <3 We definitely lucked out in that department! (We also consider our friends family, and are so grateful for each one of them. Don’t know where we’d be with out you guys!) Love you all!

The most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen in my life. <3 My talented friend & florist Madison Murdock (Bloom by Madison) did everything when it came to our flowers! I was so busy planning countless things, and she just took charge! (And I’m so grateful because I couldn’t have picked them better myself!) Madison’s arrangements are just as dreamy as she is. <3

We held our wedding dinner, ring ceremony, and reception at The Manor located in the Riverwoods. The Manor is directly across the way from the restaurant Chase & I went to on our very first date. <3

One of my favorite parts of our wedding day was the ring ceremony. I. love. kids. Have since I was just a youngin myself! 

Chase & I wanted all of the littles in our lives to take part in our special day. And we’re so glad we did! THEY WERE ALL SO CUTE! 

When the ring ceremony first started, our 10 flower girls walked down the isle with me holding my train. (In fact, they held that baby so tight it was riding up my body haha!) When I reached Chase, they all plopped down on the floor right behind me. I didn’t notice this at first, but when I looked back and saw all of their perfect faces right behind me I wanted to cry.. They looked like angels. The bond I have with all of the littles in my life is unbreakable. I’m so grateful for the relationships I have with these angels. <3 

This right here basically sums us up. Hahaa! Us Allens in our natural habitat! 

Chase and I both have an obsession with food. We couldn’t decide on one cake, so we had three! Gluten free, delicious, and absolutely gorgeous! Cassidy Budge from Flour & Flourish did our cakes and she was phenomenal! From the taste, to the last detail, every “piece” was perfection!

Jessica Janae photographed our wedding and I wouldn’t of had it any other way! Jessica’s talent is indescribable.. I have been in love with her work for years. If I could have picked anyone in the entire world to document our big day, it would be her. <3 Simply put, her pictures are timeless.. 

Not only did she capture each moment of our day to perfection, but she kept my mood light and happy when I needed it! She has the best personality and was beyond a dream to work with! (Jess, I seriously  love you to death! Thank you for being amazing!) 

Another person who went above and beyond their job for our wedding was my hair and makeup artistVivian Johnson. She kept me calm when things took a wrong turn, she kept me fed + entertained, she put up with me when I was being a diva, and she made absolute sure that I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world each time she got me ready.  

The way Vivian makes you look and feel is amazing. There’s honestly no better feeling! 

We started makeup and hair at 7:00 a.m. & it still looked flawless by the end of the night! There’s no one else I would have trusted to get me ready for my important day! (Viv, thank you SO MUCH for all you did for me! My day wouldn’t have been complete without you <3 You’re one amazing soul, & I love you to death!) 

Mark Keysor did our wedding video. To say I’m obsessed is in understatement! (With Mark & his work!) Chase & I could both watch this video over & over again. It takes us right back to this perfect day. <3 I love reliving our special day and seeing all of these beautiful little moments. If you’re getting married in the near future, I HIGHLY recommend having a video done! Nothing compares to it!

After getting married in the Salt Lake temple this past December, dressing for summer has been pressing on my mind! 

Summer in Utah is HOT! And this summer in Texas is bound to be the hottest summer I’ve ever experienced! Not only because the temp is higher here, but also because of that extra layer I’m wearing! 

I still love/want to wear distressed boy friend shorts, crop tops (pictured above), and tanks! It’s been fun to puzzle together my favorite summer pieces and make them work/cover me! (:
