Your personal guide to southern Utah is HERE! <3 We’re letting you know the best places to stay, where to find the best grub, what to pack, what activities to do, and all the other goods you need to know!  ENJOY GUYS! xx

Stay: Our favorite places to stay are Entrada, Inn on the Cliff, Sports Village, or Las Palmas! Entrada is our favorite, but it’s also the priciest! We recommend Entrada for a special occasion or romantic getaway! For something family & budget friendly we recommend Sports Village or Las Palmas!

Eat: There’s definitely more chains in this area than most, but a few of the locally owned spots are beyond drool worthy! Our favorites are Anasazi Grill, the restaurant at The Inn on the Cliff, Pizza + Pasta Factory, Poncho Leftys, Freddy’s, Croshaw Pies, & 25 Main!

Pack: Light, airy, & comfy clothing is the only way to go in Southern Utah! It’s so dang hot, you have to dress accordingly! I did some shopping before we left at Vici Collection and got everything for my trip from clothes to accessories from their store! Everything was under $50.00, and I used my discount code BRIT20 to get 20% off my entire purchase! Vici had some super cute graphic tees and light weight tee shirts, tons of beautiful airy dresses, swim cover ups, rompers, denim shorts, sandals, the whole she-bang! 10/10 would recommend checking Vici Collection out before you head of town/need a new outfit for something! <3 We also recommend packing sunscreen, a swimsuit, & some hiking clothes & shoes!

Play: Southern Utah Is jam packed with activities, but you have to get outdoors! Our favorite things to do are hike at Zions, (angels landing is our favorite hike) visit Dixie rock, (get to the beautiful red rock with no hiking at all) golf, (our favorite courses are Coral Canyon, Entrada, and Sandhallow) visit Pine Valley, Snow Canyon state park, visit Towne Square Park, (splash pad & carousel for kids) swim/boat, (local pool or Sandhallow) Helicopter rides over Zion, Veyo pool, & play pickle ball or tennis! (There are courts everywhere!)

Need to know(s): If you stay at any of the resorts listed above, you’ll be about an hour and a half out of Las Vegas! If you want to shop, go straight to Vegas! Southern Utah has horrible shopping.

Usually Southern Utah is fairly warm in the winter, but it’s been getting snow the last few years! If you want to hit the outdoor stuff, go before December!

There’s a billion more things to do here (especially when it comes to hiking) but in this post we wanted to give you everything. Not just the hikes! However, if you’re wanting a full blown hiking experience, we recommend staying in Zion and looking up some of the hikes to see what’s best for you/your family!

If you guys have any questions about vacationing in Southern Utah, shoot us an email! Or if you have something to add to this list that you love, leave a comment below! We’d love to add to this list! <3

We hope you all enjoyed this post! Thanks for the love guys! xx

Enjoying the heat in southern Utah this week! I don’t remember it being this hot ever.. it’s been 110 day in and day out!

Luckily for me, I packed this sun hat and a handful of cute swimsuits from Lulus! (This orange one is my favorite! I love the low back and the lacing detail!)

Also, my Self Tanner has been pulling through for me! I haven’t been wearing any sunscreen, (just applying this South Seas Tanner,)  and I haven’t gotten burned yet! 10/10 would recommend this Self Tanner! I’m telling you, it’s my favorite!

Thanks for stopping by beauties! xx And thank you Lulus for sponsoring this post!

Hello lovelies! xx

I’m sorry I’ve been a bit MIA! Last week Chase and I both got sick with heaven knows what.. and on top of that we’ve been mad planning/designing our new home! Life is busy but wonderful!

Now that the house is underway, we can get back to some traveling! This week we head to Southern Utah and we’re SOO looking forward to it! We’ll be putting together a Southern Utah blog post sometime next week so stay tuned! It should be a good one! We also might be headed to Peru, Cabo, and Yellow Stone next month! (We haven’t decided who what where when quite yet though, but we’ll keep you updated!)

Home is beautiful at the moment. This dream garden is right down the road from where we currently live and I’ve been dying to snap some pictures in front of it! This cute outfit from Lulus completes the scene of you ask me! Such a whimsical scene!

I love this skirt. It’s trendy, but has a style of its own! This top is all things frilly and girly and good! The fit and shape of the top combined with the skirt is very slimming. I think this is my new go to outfit this summer!

What are your plans for the rest of summer?! Leave a comment below, I want to know!

Thanks for tuning in loves! xx And thank you Lulus for sponsoring this post!

Peachie beach day! Complete with a magazine, some fruity snacks, sunscreen, a super cold beverage, and a new swimmy

I’m in loovvee with this swimsuit! I found an excuse to wear it the second it arrived in the mail! I got it at Lulus, aka my online shopping crush! <3

I also got this swell bottle from Lulus! I heard they will keep your drink crazy cold, so I took it out for a day out in the sun & put it to the test! My water stayed ice cold all day long! (How have I never had one of these before guys?!) Lulus has a couple different colored swell bottles on their site and I think I need one of each! (And I think you do too!) I won’t ever do a Utah beach day without this water bottle ever again! (Keeps drink cold + isn’t plastic, a double win!)

What completes your beach day?! Leave a comment below, I wanna know your essentials!

Thanks for stopping by today loves! I hope y’all have the best day! xx

Hello loves! I feel like I’ve been MIA. The past two weeks have been both incredible & crazy! Chase and I have been busy working on a few new things and were excited to share them with you guys! STAY TUNED!

We took a day to unwind from all the excitement and craziness of life and spent a sunny afternoon at the Day Break lake! It’s a beautiful little lake smack dab in the middle of the cutest neighborhood you ever did see. (It doesn’t even look like Utah! More east coast beach housey.)

It was so nice to spend some time together just relaxing under the sun. We definitely recommend taking a drive out here and spending an hour or so in this cute lil place! You can swim, walk along a paved trail that surrounds the lake, row a boat, paddle board, have a picnic, or sun bath!

I also took this opportunity to wear this two piece daisy duo from Lulus! This outfit is flowy, fun, and breathable! I was so glad I wore it to the lake!  It was perfect for a warm sunny day!

Thanks for reading lovelies! You guys are the greatest! And thanks to Lulus for sponsoring this post! <3

Adventure was found in my own backyard <3

I’ve caught the travel bug. I’m always aching to go somewhere new and beautiful. Today, I didn’t have to go far.

Growing up I didn’t appreciate Utahs beauty. But after meeting my husband and seeing this state through his eyes, I can now see what he sees and I’m in love with this place too. <3 If you haven’t been here, get here. And if you’re dying for adventure, start in your backyard. Adventure is all around.

This outfit is from Lulus! I love that I can wear there items literally anywhere. This dress would look as good in the city as it does in the mountains!

Anndd total side note, this is probably my second blog post ever where I’m not wearing makeup. I’m trying to be more comfortable in my own skin! So far it’s been a slow process, but it’s coming along!

Thanks for stopping by today loves! And thanks to Lulus for sponsoring this post! xx

Summer is nearly here, so today I’m sharing my top 10 summer must haves in partnership with Lulus!

First on my list is good pair of denim shorts! (One blue, one black!) My favorite brands for shorts right now are Levi’s & Agolde! (You can find both of these brands at Lulus!)

Second is a good sunscreen! Not only for your body but for your face as well! Here is my favorite body sunscreen, and here is my favorite facial sunscreen

Third is a good self tanner! I’ve been using this one from South Seas and LOVE IT!!!! It goes on easily and dries instantly!

Fourth is a pool floatie! Hearts, unicorns, rainbows, sharks, you name it! My favorite ones are from funboy!

Fifth is a sheer lipstick! You want one that will help protect your lips from the sun, but not completely cover your skin up! I’ve been using this one from Dior and love it!

Sixth is a cute swimsuit & swim cover up! (Andd a towel) Below are some of my favorites! You can also check out Lulus for some really cute ones! For cover ups, I like to get ones that are long (like this top) to protect myself from the sun when I need it!

Seventh is a Polaroid camera! I have this one and use it to document my life! I love looking back at the moments I capture with it!

Eighth is a cute visor or sunhat! (Can you tell I’m a nut when it comes to the sun?!)

Ninth is a mani + pedi! You can treat yourself at home, or hit a salon! I go to Amara Day Spa! I think I’ve been going to them for 6 years now! They are my favorite salon in Utah County!

Tenth is dry shampoo! After being out in the heat all day, (and sweating..) you’re going to need this puppy! Trust me, dry shampoo is a game changer! This one from Oribe is my favorite!

What are some of YOUR summer must haves?! Leave a comment below, I want to know!

Happy Friday my loves! Wishing you all the best weekend! xx

River Island sent me this darling outfit and I’ve been dying to share it on the blog!

This denim skirt is my new go to, I wear it with EVERYTHING! Tees, blouses, sweatshirts, literally everything! I have a few denim skirts but this one is by far my favorite! The denim is stretchy and comfortable, and I adore the button details! I especially love it with this striped top! I love pairing a classic, simple piece with a trendy, funky piece!

River Island has the best combination of simple & classic pieces all the way to trendy and vibrant! If you haven’t shopped with them before, YOU NEED TO! <3 No better place to shop for your summer capsule if you ask me!

Life is so busy yet exciting lately! I’ve put a limit on trips for a little bit to try and figure out our next big step in life..  buying a home!

The entire process so far has been exhilarating and confusing but I’m so grateful to be at this point in my life and to be learning so many new things!  Chase and I honestly could not be more excited!

After church on Sundays we like to drive around and scope out homes and neighborhoods! We came across this little beauty in Provo yesterday and I had to take some pictures in front of it, it was just so darling! (Plus it matched my ruffle dress from Lulus!)

We go back-and-forth between getting into a new home, and getting something a little older and turning it into a fixer-upper!   There’s pros and cons to both! (Chase is also super handy and could totally rock a fixer upper! He also watches hgtv all the time so I feel like it’s right up his alley!)

We know for sure we’re not gonna build right now though. We kinda want to save that for our dream home one day!

Is anyone else in the same boat as us?!  Leave a comment below, I’d love to hear anything & everything!

Thanks for stopping by today loves! Hope you all have a happy Monday! xx

“Tommys Burgers, Famous by noon tomorrow!” WHY ARE THESE WORDS SO CUTE?!

ANYWHO! Casual comfort food calls for a casual outfit! I wouldn’t consider myself to be a burger or “meat freak,” (in fact, I’ve considered going vegetarian/vegan a hundred times) BUT sometimes a greasy burger right off the grill really hits the spot! Especially with all this warm weather Utah is getting! They just mesh!

Tommy’s in Provo is quick, cozy, historic, and divine! If you haven’t been, I’d say it’s worth a try!

And oddly enough.. I feel like my outfit (got it from Lulus) is hitting all the same points as Tommy’s Burgers! (Quick, cozy, historic, divine) It’s easy to throw on, beyond comfortable, a classic + timeless brand, and DIVINE! 10/10 would recommend both this outfit from Lulus, and a bite from Tommy’s!

Thank you guys for stopping by! YOU DA BEST! xx

Island life is the life for me! <3 After visiting Oahu for 2 weeks, I can honestly say I’d move there in a heartbeat. Hawaii was heaven on earth!

I’ve received countless questions about Hawaii, so I’ve put together a guide to the island based on our 14 day experience! We’re talking food, beaches, places to stay, activities, flights, what to pack, etc! ENJOY FOLKS! (Also anything with a “**” by it is a MUST in our book!)

This was both Chase & my first time on the island, and for newbies I’d say we fooping ROCKED Hawaii’s world! We looked into EVERYTHING before heading out to the island which made our trip a total breeze! Since we’ve done all the googling and “testing out”, all you have to do to is take our word for it! xx

FOOD

We’re BIG into food, (eating is basically our favorite part of everyday life..) so obviously we’re starting here!

The places we recommend to you are:

**Roy’s Beach House (American cuisine)

Seven Brothers (burgers + salads)

Crispy Grindz (Açaí bowls)

Kahuku Farms (Vegan + local + organic)

Shaloha (Israeli)

**Waialua Bakery (bread & desserts made fresh in house)

Elephant truck (Thai + vegan)

Ai Love Nalo (vegan)

Norios (steak + sushi)

Hi BBQ (real bbq)

**Uncle Woodys Truck (bbq corn)

Kua Aina (sandwich + burger + salads)

Banzai Sushi Bar (seafood + sushi)

We loved most everything we ate on the island except for one place, Kualoa Ranch. It was awful and extremely overpriced! Don’t eat here!

GLUTEN FREE** Our list is a bit limited. I’m allergic to shrimp, and I’m also a celiac! (A GLUTARD!) In Utah there are tons of gluten free alternatives, but in Hawaii we didn’t find many unless it was a chain restaurant! All of these places listed above had meat for Chase, and gluten free options for me! (Not necessarily bread or buns, but enough of an option where I felt full!)

As far as grocery shopping goes, you’re going to want to hit Costco or Safeway in the city! They have the most options and the cheapest prices! If your shopping at Food Land (aka not in the city,) snag a locals phone number or ask if you can enter your own phone number for a discount! (It actually helps quite a bit!)

STAY

Finding a place to stay took us some time! You can either stay in the city, (Honolulu/Waikiki) or the country! (Literally everywhere else.) After deciding where you’d like to be your options are 1. book a hotel (if it’s nice it’ll be pricey) or 2. use Airbnb, VRBO, or Home Away!

We wanted to stay at Turtle Bay, (country side, NORTH SHORE) but didn’t want to pay $400.00 a night + resort fees! We found a condo at Turtle Bay through VRBO that was only $90.00 a night and really cute! (I’ll link it HERE! If you can find it on VRBO, it’s cheaper than this linked price!) We love staying at nice resorts, but we also love saving money! Staying at this condo at Turtle Bay was the perfect option for us! We really did love this place and definitely will book it again!

TIP: when booking anything through Airbnb, VRBO, or Home Away, make sure you’ve read through all the details. Sometimes they don’t have air-conditioning, they might require you to bring your own toiletries/towels, & you might need to pre arrange a time to get the key if they have one. I know this sounds like a lot, but it’s not! TRUST ME!!!! If I can handle this, anyone can!

Side note: we were extremely glad we stayed on the North Shore! It was by far our favorite part of the whole island! We visited the entire island while there, and wouldn’t of had it any other way!

ACTIVITIES

We did so much while we were in Hawaii! Our days were jam packed for the most part! My absolute favorite days though we’re the ones where we did nothing. Just eat, lay on the beach, and play in the water! If you're wanting a chill vacation, give yourself a few days where nothing is planned! In my opinion, they always end up being the best days!

Aside from chillin, we recommend THESE:

**Helicopter Ride at Paradise Helicopters

**Hikes (Crouching Lion, Lulumahu falls, Waimea falls, Kuliouou ridge trail, and sunset pillbox!)

Surfing

Shopping (local shops at Haleiwa or the Ala Moana mall)

Paddle boarding (we rented ours in Haleiwa)

**Snorkeling (We liked Hanauma Bay & Turtle Bay! They had the prettiest fish! You can rent gear at both of these places or get your own on amazon for super cheap!)

Pearl Harbor

Luau + Night show at PCC! (we don’t recommend a full day there. However, the Luau & night show were incredible!)

A few activities we didn’t do but would love to try next time are Shark diving, horse back riding, swimming with wild dolphins (west side) and Zip lining! They have tons of places that offer these!

The only activity we don’t recommend is visiting Kualoa Ranch! (Aka Jurassic Park!) The views are insanely beautiful, but it’s expensive! (We’d rather book a helicopter tour over it than a tour through it!) If you drive up to Kualoa Ranch, you can honestly see it’s gorgeous view without paying their hefty fees.

BEACHES

Simply put, some beaches are better than others! Here were our favorites!

**Kawela bay (beautiful, somewhat private feeling beach! Pirates of the Caribbean, hunger games, and soul surfer were filmed there!)

Waimea (incredibly big waves and the best beach to watch surfers!)

**Lanikai (softest sand ever)

Sunset (chill & somewhat touristy)

Castles (calm waves for beginning surfers, also has sea turtles swimming around)

Waikiki (firework show on Friday nights)

Banzai pipeline (great to spot surfers)

This is going to sound crazy but the only beach we didn’t love was Turtle Bay! Great for snorkeling, but if you want a beach day, it’s not the prettiest view!

CAR RENTAL/UBER

The most cost efficient way to rent a car is through Turo! (It’s like Airbnb but for a car!) You can get a car for $20.00 a day! A STEAL! If your staying in the city, Uber is wonderful and cost efficient as well! The north shore doesn’t really have Uber, so if you’re staying there (or anywhere other than the city) we recommend renting a car!

If you rent a car through a company like Budget, Hertz, etc. try booking it online before arriving! It will be cheaper and a much quicker process!

FLIGHTS

This can be one of the cheapest or most expensive parts of your trip depending on how you do it! If you’re flexible on dates, you can always find cheap(er) flights! Also, if you can handle a red eye, that’s also going to give you a cheaper flight as well!

I got our flights for $265.00 round trip! SO AFFORDABLE! I follow a few people on Instagram who find cheap flights and watch the deals they post! (I feel like every big city in the world has an Instagram for this! The one I follow for Utah is @FlightsFromHome!)

After finding a cheap flight, I look it up on google flights, and then get on Hopper to see when I should purchase it! Flight prices can move up an down on a day to day basis, and Hopper tells you when to purchase at the best price!

Allssoo, I recently discovered one other way to fly for cheap and it’s kind of amazing! You need good credit to do it, and will need to apply for & use certain credit cards, but if done right, you can virtually get free flights! (Or international flights under $100.00!)

PACKING

Packing for Hawaii is a piece of cake! It’s the complete opposite of New York where you bring your entire closet! You can get away with bringing just a carry on to Hawaii, you really don’t need much!

Here are our essentials:

Sun screen (30+, the sun is strong in Hawaii!)

Bug Spray

Comfortable shoes

Good sandals or flip flops

A light jacket for the evening

Swim suits

Swim suits

More swim suits

That’s it!

Aside from the basics (tooth brush, tooth paste, etc.) this is literally all you need! We didn’t wash our hair much, didn’t get dressed often, and didn’t need everything we though we would! These were the essentials!

Ladies, if you like to air dry your hair, it was a little hard to get it air dried all the way! (It’s pretty humid there!) I was very grateful I packed my hairdryer! It’s not necessary, but I’m glad I had it!

Chase & I packed some “nicer” outfits for dates/nice dinners and we only busted them out one time. Everything gets wet, everything gets sandy.. keep your nice clothes at home!

TIPS + ADVICE

I have some local friends who have grown up on the island, and they kindly shared this knowledge with me prior to coming. It was useful to me, and I hope it can be useful to you as well!

Support local everything if possible (ex: farmers market over a grocery store)

Be respectful to locals (this might be your vacation destination, but it is someone else’s HOME)

Pick up after yourself (don’t you dare litter)

Note, there are homeless people (do what you will. Be kind, help if you have a good feeling. Go with your gut.)

There are “locals only” spots, be respectful to these areas

There are hitch hikers (once again, go with your gut!)

Aight.. I think that’s everything! If you made it to the end of this post, CON FREAKIN GRATS! That was a LOONNGG ONE! I hope you reward yourself by booking a trip to Hawaii!!!! (Seriously, Nike that shiz & just do it!!!!)

Obviously I’m not from the island and have so much to learn about it still.. BUT, if you have any questions for me about anything leave a comment below!

Thank you so much for reading guys! Love you all so so much! xx

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!!!!

Tbh, this Guns n Roses song was stuck in my head the entire time I was in Hawaii! Idk if it was the recent Jumanji movie that did it, or the fact that everywhere you looked was some sort of a tropical wonderland! (Probably a bit of both hahaha.)

This was my first time in Hawaii and I was in awe at how beautiful everything was! Including this dirt road! I’ve never seen a pretty dirt road in my life.. leave it to Hawaii to make even the typically “ugly” sights breath taking.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this, I don’t think I saw one ugly or dead thing on the island the entire time I was in Hawaii! IT WAS CRAZY! I kept thinking to myself “I can shoot there, and there, and there, and there and there and there” hahaha! Such a bad mindset, but I was in my work zone! (Aka an Instagram dream land!)

Aside from the never ending beauty on the island, the weather was perfect and I was able to wear so many fun cover ups and dresses! This one in particular was definitely a favorite! I’m in love with this orange right now, obsessed with this back detail, and love the brand Free People!

I got it along with the rest of my outfit from Lulus! I shop at Lulus 24/7! It’s truly my go to for everything! Vacations, lounge wear, occasion dresses, literally everything!

If you haven’t shopped with Lulus yet, you need to check them out! I’ve shopped with them for nearly 4 years now and don’t know what I’d do with out them!

Thanks for reading loves! Y'all are the best! xx

P.s. for those of you asking, I’ll being posting my Hawaii guide soon! (Sorry it’s not up yet!) It’ll be filled with llaces to eat, things to do, where to stay, etc. Stay tuned loves!

Hello loves! Sorry I’ve been MIA the past little while. All the traveling has got me behind!

I wanted to share cutest two piece set I lived in while in Hawaii! It’s honestly my travel go to! I got it from Lulus and am beyond obsessed with the style, fit, and print! I even have it in a few colors! You might have seen me rocking a similar yellow one in Mexico & California!

I’ve dressed this set down to wear to the beach and up to wear to dinner with Chase! It honestly works with everything!

I decided to pair it with these fringe sandals that match PERFECTLY! These are some of the funnest sandals I’ve ever owned.. they make me think about stepping my shoe game up and adding some more color + flair into my wardrobe! (If you’ve followed me for a while, you already know I’ve come a long way from where I once was! I’m a natural tee shirt + jeans girl!)

What’s your take on “vacation style?” Do you like to branch out and wear pieces that match your environment, or stick to your usual? Leave a comment below, I want to know! <3

Thanks for stopping by today babes! Love you all so much!!!! xx

SOLEOHA beautiful people! Soleoha is basically “Aloha” but when you’re Sole Society obsessed! (; Today I’m SOO excited to share my fashion travel guide for the tropics, starting with the real MVPs, Sole Society shoes!

I kid you not, I’ve worn a pair of Sole Society’s shoes ERRE SINGLE DAY here! (They work with everything and are so dang cute!) If you aren’t familiar with Sole Society, let me give you the run down! Sole Society is a footwear company that produces trendy, fashion forward, high quality, and affordable shoes + accessories! I’ve shopped with them for years! You can find them online on their website Solesociety.Com!

Before heading out the the Hawaiian islands, I knew my swim + shoe game needed to be on point! Swim for obvious reasons, but shoes were just as important to me! There’s a lot of walking to be done here, and I knew my feet would be killing me if I wasn’t wearing supportive sandals! I also wanted shoes that wouldn’t hurt when sand got into them. Sometimes the sand can get caught between your skin and your shoe, and after a few rubs it can cut your skin up! These shoes handled the walking & sand like champions! I give them a 10/10 for function, durability, and over all look!

I snagged a couple of colorful pairs to wear to the beach, a few neutral pairs to wear around town, and a heel to wear out on a date with Chase! They were beyond perfect! I also ordered a beach bag, a carry on for my flight, and a hat to help keep the sun off of my face! Everything I wore received compliments all day long! (It was kinda cute actually hahaa!)

Out of all the things I packed on this tropical trip, these shoes were by far the most important! (Ok, sunscreen, then shoes!) If you’re headed out on a holiday, or doing anything that involves a lot of walking I HIGHLY recommend shopping for shoes at Sole Society! We spend a lot of time in our shoes everyday, so to me, it’s a no brainer to invest in a few good pairs! Don’t let your shoes hold you back, run freely with Sole Society! <3

Thanks for stopping by today lovelies! Love you all!

P.s. I’ll be doing a swimsuit guide + Hawaii travel guide later this week! Stay tuned loves! xx
