PINK OVERLOAD wit da pink sweater, pink sneaks, pink bag, pink lipstick, & pink drink from Starbucks.... This can only mean one thing.. IM HAVING A GIRL!.. JUST KIDDING! It’s Breast Cancer awareness month ladies! <3 

All week long I’ll be sporting pink as my own way to support & raise Brest Cancer awareness! If you’re not familiar with breast cancer month, let me give you an intro! 

Every October TONS of groups/foundations organize fundraisers of all kinds to help raise money for breast cancer research, to spread word of breast cancer, & to provide mammograms for women who can’t afford them. Cancer research, being educated, & helping people visit doctors/have a local doctor is something I feel very strongly about! Hence, I’m sticking to PINK ONLY this week! #CancerSucks #FindACure

Breast Cancer is the second most common type & fatal type of cancer for women. Since so many women get it, I feel it’s important we educate ourselves and know a bit about it! We should regularly visit the doctor to make sure we are healthy and clear of breast cancer! If you can’t make it to the doctor as often as you’d like, there are symptoms you can check for self evaluation! (If you’ve self evaluated and have 2 or more symptoms, PLEASE get checked! There was a while I thought I had breast cancer and was so glad I had it checked!)

Going for a simple-stonewashed style with my Vici Collection pieces today and I LOVE the result!  

I love tomboy style, and am not surprised at all that Vici has pieces to pull off a classic-tomboy look! If you aren’t familiar with “tomboy” style, it’s like Madewell, Jcrew, or Clad & Cloth clothing! But, the best part about THIS outfit is it’s cheaper and looks just as good as those name brand outfits! (And in my opinion, BETTER!)

Black and white striped anything & EVERYTHING is and has always been my favorite thing to wear. You could say I like it A LATTE! (Cause it’s a latte, and I like it a latte.) HA! K I’ll stop being a dork now. 

I wanted to show this tee styled two ways and prove you can wear a simple tee to the office aside from the weekends! For a business casual look I paired this tee with a blazer and knee high boots, looking 100% office appropriate! After meetings/work I’d swap my sunglasses in for a cute cap like this and go hit the town/meet up with Chase for dinner! For a weekend look, I’d ditch the blazer altogether, swap the boots for some converse, possibly add a denim jacket, and I’m good to go! 

I got this entire outfit from Lulus and have been wearing it to and from meetings, on date night, and on the weekend! I really can’t get enough of these stripes! Took a drive up Provo canyon yesterday and was in complete awe. <3 The Mountain was on FIRE with color! The reds, oranges, and yellows are so bright & vibrant right now! It’s truly the prettiest fall I’ve ever seen. If you haven’t had the chance to go up the canyon yet, GO NOW! 

It was a little chilly up in the mountain air, so I was extremely glad I wore these Marc Fisher boots, this Sole Society hat, and this sweater from Vici Collection! They were definitely keeping me warm while walking around the mountain top! (And keeping me cute! Teeth Whitening // Dentist // Tee // Denim

Hey guys <3 guess what?! I’m finally answering your questions! YOU always send tons of DMs & emails asking about my beauty routines, and I’m slowly but surely bringing them ALL to you! (If you missed my hair post, you can find it by clicking HERE!) **Also, I’d like to note that this post is NOT sponsored! 

Ok, y’all are always asking if my teeth are edited/photo shopped, and the answer is NOO! My teeth definitely aren’t perfect (I’ve never had braces and would love to get veneers one day) BUUUUTTTT I honestly can’t complain! My shiny bright whites make up for it! 

The ONE beauty bust I honestly can’t live without is my TEETH WHITENING! Nothing makes me (or anyone) look and feel prettier/more confident than vivid white teeth! 

I’ve been whitening my teeth for years, and have searched high and low for the best product! Tooth paste, white strips, LED light whitening, natural charcoal products, baking soda, banana peels, professional whitening.. you name it, I’ve tried it! 

My dentist (Dr. Mark Fullmer at Art City Dental) had some teeth whitening at his office that he recommended to me a year and a half ago so I decided to try his whitening syringes out! He made me some trays (which are molds of my teeth, pictured above) and I got right to testing his whitening! 

I started using my whitening trays one hour a day two times a week (just in case I was sensitive) and noticed results THAT WEEK! Not only did I notice a difference, but so did my family and friends! ALL OF THEM! And they have all hopped on the whitening train too! 

Now I use my trays once (occasionally twice) a week for 3-4 hours at a time! My teeth have only experienced sensitivity once (and it was my bad, I left them in over night) and they haven’t been affected by the whitening other than getting brighter! To me this is a score!  (I’ve had products turn my mouth strange colors, eat away at my gums, not whiten at all, and make my teeth sensitive to no end. So bad.) This whitening is also really easy to use! I just push down on the syringe, point it into my trays, and then put them on! (The process is pictured above!) Sometimes I wear them out in public too since they’re clear! No one can even tell I’m wearing them!

HOWEVER, I’ve started shopping on Amazon for things like Rag & Bone Jeans, G star Jeans, North Face coats, perfume, makeup products I’m out of, and more all at an amazing price! (It’s honestly all half of their regular price! I got a brand new pair of Rag & Bone Jeans for $100.00, and the largest size of Flower Bomb Perfume for $70.00!) This week my steal of a deal was this Mackage Crossbody Bag! I saw it when Chase and I were in NYC a few weeks ago, and knew I had to have it! It was nearly $600.00 so I didn’t get it.. But then I found it on amazon for nearly half the price and jumped! 

Moral of this story is, save where you can! If there’s a specific something you want, check to see if Amazon has it first! (Cause they most likely do!) A starry skirt paired with an embellished denim jacket is all you need to feel young and hot again! (Tested & proven by me (; haa!) On the real though, todays #ootd is not only cute, but youthful and playful! Tbh, I could wear this outfit every single day. 

This tee, skirt, and jacket are 3 of my favorite pieces in my closet right now! I’ve had my eye on Amo tees for a while, and adore this one! I really dig the “Babes Unite” graphic! This skirt has me OBSESSED with the star trend! I’ve seen a lot of dresses like this but never a skirt! I found it at Vici Collection & snagged it the second I saw it! As for this jacket, I’m in love! I’ve been searching for a good oversized denim jacket that doesn’t look like I stole it from my husbands closet. So when I found this pearl embellished jacket from Lulus, I HAD to get it!

I'm feeling a little sad putting together todays post ): this is my fourth and final fashion week look! Aka no more beautiful New York pictures! I hope you all have enjoyed them as much as I have!

Ok, let's get into fashion week! (Finally!!!!) I received hundreds of questions regarding NYFW, so here are your answers! 

Fashion Week happens twice a year in NYC. Once in February, and once in September! All the designers are showing their upcoming seasons collection! (So the looks you saw on my ig stories will all be arriving spring & summer 2018!)  

Fashion Week isn't exactly something you can buy your way into.. you have to be invited. There are certain events and shows you can purchase tickets to attend, but the big ones are invite only! It's considered an honor to attend Fashion Week, and an even bigger honor to sit front row! You can find your favorite blogger, actor, reality tv star, singer, or model sitting in these seats! 

Chase and I were invited to a handful of shows, but tried to pick and choose our best ones! Fashion Week used to be held at one location, (when it was sponsored by Mercedes Benz) but now every designer/show/event/presentation gets their own venue.. making it impossible to attend everything!.. Especially with the city traffic/trying to find your way around!) 

We attended the Banana Republic show, the Leanne Marshall Show, the Jarel Zhang show, the Negris Lebrum show, the Uncommon James & Chinese Laundry presentation, the Veronica Beard presentation, a private Lulus event, and a private NYFW dinner. All of the lines were INCREDIBLE! Seriously.. I wanted to buy everything I saw! 

The trends I noticed most for SS18 were yellows, flowy dresses, bold stripes, straw bags, and one shoulder cut outs! Obviously there's a million more, but these were the ones I saw at every show! (So if you are already shopping for warmer weather, any of these are a shoe-in!) 

I got asked what my favorite thing about fashion week was.. and for me this year it wasn't the shows!... I REALLY enjoyed the Fashion Week dinner I attended! There were a bunch of amazing influencers there and it was so cool to chat about work, where we're at, what we do, what our goals our, and Fashion Week! Honestly, it was a night I'll never forget!

For shows, my favorite was Leanne Marshall! Their designs were jaw dropping.. Leanne Marshalls runway show was in a venue that had multiple runways. (Kind of like the old Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tents!) It also held some of the sponsors for fashion week such as Tresseme & E News! The sponsor booths are fun place to go hang out while waiting for other shows! You can have your hair done, take cool pictures, meet other people on the industry, and more! This space felt the most like my previous Fashion Week experience so I loved it! It felt familiar and like home! 

We've been asked if we're planning on attending Fashion Week this February, and I'm not sure yet! We would LOVE TO obviously, but we're not positive just yet!  

Another question I got asked a lot was when are the looks open to the public. And the answer is RIGHT NOW! There's an app called NYFW that anyone can download and right after a show the looks are uploaded to the app for the public to see! You can search by designer, time, or trend! (I'm not positive but I think it works the same way for London Washion Week which is happening RIGHT NOW! So if you want to see the Tommy Show.. it's there!)

Amara Day Spa // Natalie Mckell // Pink PJs // Graphic Tee 

You asked for it, so I'm bringing it! Everything you've ever asked about my hair is HERE! I'm a hair + extensions nazi.. so if you're the same then dig in to this post! 

For starters, YES I have extensions! I've had them for 7 years. NO, they are not damaging. My hair in the extensions is always longer & healthier than my hair out of the extensions!  

Right now I have 18" bonded extensions. (See picture above.) I've had both wefts and tapes in the past, but bonds are by far my favorite! They are low maintenance, they match your hair color perfectly, blend amazing, adds thickness and length, you can brush right over them, custom color them, go more time in between adjusting them.. bonds are literally everything! 

I had my bonded extensions done at Amara Day Spa and recommend them one billion percent! I've been going to Amara for my nails for years now, and have seen this service done on a few of their clients. I had always wanted to try this extension method out, and am kicking myself in the butt for not doing it sooner! I'm seriously soo happy with them! (Little side note, if you haven't been to Amara, you MUST go! It's the cutest high end salon in Utah county and I don't go anywhere else for most services! They do everything from hair to waxing to Botox! GO SEE THEM! Allssoo, Amara is the ONLY place I go to for nails! My girl Myka is THE BEST! She's the reason my nails are so long, healthy, and beautiful!) 

KK, back to hair! The picture above with my tongue out is my actual hair length! Yes, my hair is crazy short! If you're worried your natural hair is too short for extensions, then stop right now! Extensions can blend with any hair length!  

I've used just about every brand of extensions on the market and am currently using Racoon hair. (Amara has it at their salon!) Racoon hair is the softest, most natural looking, & prettiest hair I've ever used! It's also the priciest hair I've used, but it's worth it! (Racoon hair is Remy hair. I've only used Remy hair extensions and recommend you do the same as well! Remy is the best brand on the market!) 

I wash and dry my extensions exactly the same as I do my real hair. There's NO DIFFERENCE! For shampoo and conditioner I switch off between Kevin Murphys volume set (thickens hair) and Kevin Murphys purple shampoo set! I get them from my hair gal Natalie Mckell! She's located in Orem at Sola Salon! (She's the first booth in there, you can't miss her! Natalie cuts & dyes my hair and she's INCREDIBLE! I've been through a few girls and feel like Natalie is the best in the biz!) I also occasionally wash with Oribe products because they smell heavenly! Between Kevin Murphy & Oribe, I'm beyond taken care of! My favorite products from Oribe are the dry shampoo, the texturizing spray, and the matte waves texture serum. (I use these everyday) And my favorite products from Kevin Murphy are their root pump, de tangler, and their shimmer shine spray! 

The other products/tools I use on my hair are the Mason Pearson brush, the Dry Bar hair dryer and round brush, the GHD single pass straightener, and the T3 whirl trio! All of these products are INCREDIBLE. The only thing I'm itching to add to my collection is the new Dyson hair dryer! (I've heard amazing things about it. If you're looking for a new hair dryer, I'd try this puppy out!) 

When I Style my hair, I start with a wet head. Fresh and clean! I towel dry for a minute or two, then air dry for 10 minutes! I spray the de tangler on the ends of my hair and my extensions, and the root pump at the crown of my head! Then I start round brushing + blow drying until it's 100% dry! Next I run my straightener through my hair to make it look healthy and smooth! Then I grab my whirl trio and curl everything away from my face! Sometimes I alternate the curls direction, others I don't! Once it's curled I grab my Mason Pearson brush and fluff everything out! (This brush is amazing for fluff + hair health!) After that I add the Oribe texturizing lotion & spray to help it hold! And finally I finish it off with Kevin Murphys shine spray for a perfectly polished look! In my opinion product has A LOT to do with your hair, so I always recommend investing in good, long lasting tools and products! 

For my color I honestly don't know what to tell you. (Sorry guys!) I don't know much about hair dye, and I don't ask Natalie for a specific color! She just does what she thinks will look best and I trust her! You can definitely send her a DM through Instagram though and she can help you out! Her Instagram handle is @NatalieMckellHair! 

There's a bunch of other questions you guys have emailed me about, so I'm going to answer them quickly here! <3  

YES, you can wear your hair in a pony tail with extensions!  

YES, you can work out with them! Sweat won't hurt the extensions.

YES, you can swim with them! (I don't get in the chlorine much because I'm blonde, but it doesn't hurt the extensions!)  

NO, they don't hurt! I've heard some people have been sensitive after getting them in for the first time, but I never have with any method!  

No, they don't look fake. Some DO, but if you get good hair, and have someone who knows what they're doing putting them in, they'll look amazing! Once again, I recommend the bonded method, Racoon hair or any Remy hair, and Amara salon can do this all for you!  

No, I do not lose pieces of hair! (I have with tape ins once, but once in 7 years is amazing!) If your hard on you hair, I recommend getting bonds or wefts, not tapes!  

No, they are NOT hard to style! In fact, they are easier than real hair! They hold curl much better than real hair and the curls last for days!  

YES, if you really want me to I'll upload a video of how I curl my hair. But FAIR WARNING I'm SUPER AWKWARD and it won't be anything amazing! Soo if you want a sups awks hair video tutorial, leave a comment below!

Feeling on top of the world at "Top of the Rock!" We took breaks inbetween the shows, meetings, and events to play tourist in the city! 

Top of the Rock, (on top of the Rockefeller center) was one of our favorite attractions! It's so high up, has the prettiest views, and you can see the Empire State Building perfectly from it! This is something we'll be going to every time we're in NYC from here on out! 

Some other touristy things we did and LOVED were the Brooklyn Bridge, Dumbo, Central Park, 9/11 Memorial, Empire State Building, Jimmy Fallon, Soho, the Highline, Hudson river, flatiron building, the Met, Wicked on Broadway, Yankee Stadium, and 5th Ave! We recommend visiting these places if you're headed to the city! 

We used City Pass to get discount attraction tickets and saved a couple hundred dollars! City Pass also got us through lines quickly on majority of the things we did! (Check out City Pass HERE!) We also found cheap broadway tickets on an app called Tickets Today, and cheap Yankees tickets as well on the Yankee Stadium app! We recommend these discount apps/tickets, they were AMAZING for us!  

Aside from Top of the Rock and the shows during fashion week, our favorite thing to do in the city was EAT! We pigged out HARD and are missing the food in the city already! Our favorite places to grab grub were Mighty Quins Bbq, STK, Black Tap Burgers & Shakes, By Chloe, The Smith, Shake Shack, and Laduree for sweets/dessert! (We suggest not going to chains while you're in the city! There's so much good food to try!.. We didn't even get half way through our list of places to eat!) 

For transportation we used Uber & the subway! Uber drivers are cheaper, nicer, and better drivers than Cabbies! (Taxi drivers.) The subway is 100% the way to travel though.. it's going to be the cheapest & quickest way to any destination! We used Google Maps to help us navigate through the city. Just hit "transit" or "subway" after you've entered in your destination!  

We stayed at Arlo Hotel (Nomad location) and it was incredible! Reasonably priced for the area we were in, (it's on 5th avenue and two blocks away from the Empire State Building) our room was clean and new compared to all the other hotels we looked at, it had incredible views, and the nicest staff! Seriously, we made friends with half the staff there! Arlo has another hotel located in Soho that looks extremely similar and is priced a bit better if you're not wanting to stay in midtown! 

Our photographer in NYC was non other than the incredible Ty French! Ty took our formals when we got married and we both LOVE his work! He shoots everything from commercial, to fashion, to weddings! He's also available for travel! We both love his style and recommend him as a photographer for ANYTHING! (Love you, Ty!)

Found a little apple in the big apple (; New York Fashion Week has been phenomenal, as always! NYFW ended yesterday, but Chase and I are here until the weekend to fully soak in this magical city.  

This outfit was my day 1 look! A little spunk, but not over the top! A lot of the looks/street style pictures you see from NYFW are crazy/insane! Super fun, vibrant outfits, but not realistic for day to day wear. (Unless you're Rihanna, then its casual hahaa.) All of the looks I packed & wore are outfits I felt comfortable in and LOVE! Chase & I are up the canyon camping with his family this weekend! I'm not much of a camper, but I do love being out in the cool mountain air! There's something about Utah mountains this time of year that's just magical. 

The leaves have barely started to change and its got me all excited for autumn! Everything about autumn makes me giddy. The crisp air, the colorful leaves, the holidays, the pumpkin flavored everything, and of course, the fashion! Fashion this time of year is better than any other time! Boyfriend jeans & bombers are the name of the game this season! (And hopefully every season <3 I love em both!)
